A medical camp was recently organized by LBM - India with the aim of providing free healthcare services to underprivileged communities. The camp was held on 18 - 03 - 2025 and saw participation from a team of dedicated doctor ,nurses, and volunteers who worked tirelessly to ensure that the beneficiaries received proper medical attention.
The camp provided various health services, including general check-ups, blood pressure and sugar level testing, eye check-ups, and distribution of free medicines. Additionally, specialized Dr. Naomi Sureka Komanapalli, MBBS, M.S (ENT), PGDCC (Diploma in Clinical Cardiology)
15 years of experience in clinical practice, with a deep understanding of medical principles, practices, and procedures
Health awareness sessions were also conducted to educate the attendees on hygiene, nutrition, and preventive healthcare measures.
A significant number of people, including children, elderly individuals, and women, benefited from the initiative. Many patients who had been suffering from undiagnosed conditions received medical guidance and referrals for further treatment. LBM - INDIA also arranged follow-up consultations for critical cases, ensuring continuous support for those in need.
The event was a great success, thanks to the efforts of the LBM and its team. It reinforced the importance of accessible healthcare and highlighted the need for more such initiatives. The local community expressed immense gratitude, emphasizing how such camps positively impact their lives.
This medical camp served as a reminder that healthcare should be a fundamental right, not a privilege. It also encouraged more organizations and individuals to step forward and contribute to the cause of community health and well-being.
