Buffalo Donation Program by LBM INDIA : Supporting Livelihoods

In an effort to empower rural families this initiative aimed to support underprivileged farmers and dairy workers by providing them with buffaloes, thereby enabling them to generate a sustainable source of income through milk production.

The program focused on identifying deserving beneficiaries, including small-scale farmers, widows, and economically weaker families who depend on livestock for their livelihood. Along with donating buffaloes, we also provided training on livestock management, proper feeding practices, veterinary care, and dairy farming techniques to ensure the long-term success of the initiative.

Each beneficiary received a healthy, high-yield buffalo, along with initial fodder and veterinary support. LBM INDIA also facilitated connections between the farmers and local dairy cooperatives, helping them secure a fair price for their milk production. Additionally, financial assistance and insurance schemes were introduced to protect them from unexpected losses.
